Challenge
A major client of theirs was using one of their encoding solutions for on demand video. The challenge was that the client was operating across 2 sites and the management tools of the encoding solution were not designed to support this configuration. This meant the solution provided no means for managing the or monitoring the workflow across both locations.
Solution
We developed a new application that interfaced between the video management and encoding platforms to provide queue management, flow control, job monitoring and built a dashboard to provide a detailed overview of performance and workflow progress. The application was fully developed in AWS before being deployed live at the client’s data centres.

The solution now provides the end client with complete visibility of all encoding jobs across the encoding clusters at both sites.
