Challenge

As a multi-national service provider, RTL, works hard to ensure the delivery of high-quality content and experiences to consumers in all their markets in what is a fragmented ecosystem. As platforms and ecosystems organically evolve, the complex nature of multi-vendor SaaS ecosystems starts to play its part – and working to reduce error rates, playback failures and increased processing times becomes increasingly more difficult. The challenge was to audit, analyse and aim to resolve underlying low level technical debt and nuances within the platform to reduce error rates and improve the end-to-end quality of experience for the consumer.

As leading providers in this space, we break apart the product and platform architecture piece by piece, charting and evaluating every interaction and each component that make up the consumer journey. Our work analysed the product and platform in intricate levels of detail – and generated detailed report documents with evidential chains to highlight findings, areas of improvement and optimisations on an engineering level to enhance the quality of experience to the consumer.
